ProCamera, in partnership with EyeEm, is pleased to present an
International Open Call
for the best shots of 2014 that represent the concept of simplicity.
Submission period:
December 9, 2014 to January 15, 2015.
Click here to see the amazing photos uploaded so far for our SOTY exhibition.
In our busy and complex world, simplicity is a luxury. But what exactly does “simplicity” mean? How can you capture it in a photo? As a mobile photographer, show us how you have personally explored the concept of simplicity. In a few words (160 characters max), please share your interpretation of simplicity in the caption of your photo (optional). All photos will be considered, but we encourage you to submit photos that have a simple yet strong composition.
The exhibition will be displayed online throughout the entire submission period. The 100 best photos will be showcased online by ProCamera. The 12 winning shots will be printed and sent to the photographers. Photos can be taken with any type of smartphone camera. All genres of photography are welcome: from portraits to street photography, nature to animals, color, black & white, and HDR.
Once the submission period closes, we will review all entries based on EyeEm user ratings, and then select the photos to be included in the top 100, as well as the 12 winners. Winners will be selected for the following categories:
Main categories:
People & Animals, Nature, Street.
Sub-categories:
Color, Black & White, HDR.
Winners will be announced on February 5, 2015.
Prizes
The top 4 photos will be printed on aluminum dibond and sent to the winners.
The next 8 best photos will be printed on canvas and sent to the winners.
The top 100 images will be showcased on the ProCamera and EyeEm blogs, and selectively showcased in ProCamera’s “Hall of Fame”.
