ProCamera’s big update for iOS 17 is here, bringing you the newest evolution in mobile photography and videography. The game-changing features include:

ProCamera Responsive Capture with zero shutter lag

INSTANT CAPTURE

Always capture that decisive moment: experience zero shutter-lag and benefit from faster readiness for your next shot – especially great for sport and action photography!

EXTENDED DYNAMIC RANGE (EDR)

Increase the visual impact of your images with ProCamera’s EDR support for capturing, viewing, and editing. Toggle the EDR preview on/off in the album to experience the boost in dynamic range firsthand. In recent years, iPhones and iPads have been released that can display even brighter areas in your photos with more detail for a more natural rendering. The newer the device, the more luminous these bright elements in your photos will glow.

Plus, this is not limited to future photos – unlock EDR retroactively for older shots by revisiting them in our advanced editing studio. For a long time, iPhone photos already captured the extra brightness information.

ENHANCED RAW AND PRORAW EDITING

Gain unparalleled control over your images with our new extended dynamic range (EDR) support in the ProCamera editing studio. Make your RAW and ProRAW photos look more true-to-life, especially when viewed on EDR-enabled screens.

ANAMORPHIC LENS SUPPORT

Unleash the full cinematic potential of your iPhone or iPad with our comprehensive anamorphic lens support (1.33x & 1.55x). Previously exclusive to big-budget film sets, you can now tap into anamorphic filming for more expansive and dramatic visuals.

This groundbreaking feature, covering both photo and video modes, is available exclusively for ProCamera Up users (iOS 15 and up). Stay tuned as we will publish a more in-depth article on anamorphic desqueeze later this month.
