The new version makes our Private Lightbox even more versatile by adding an import feature.

ProCamera v11.2.1 also brings improved progress reporting, a fix for HDR captures, and an updated Creative Cloud integration.

In the previous update, we have introduced the new Private Lightbox. It is a protected folder that can only be accessed with Touch ID or Face ID (or passcode) authentication. Now, you can also hide any photo or video you have taken in the past by importing it to the Private Lightbox. Of course, you can still choose to save new captures directly to the Private Lightbox.

Private Lightbox Import

Using the iOS sharing feature, you can easily transfer photos and videos from the Camera Roll to the protected Private Lightbox. The “Hide” activity also works for multiple files at once.

After importing the file(s), a dialog will appear, which allows you to delete the duplicate file(s).

The “Hide” activity is only visible after the Private Lightbox in-app purchase has been unlocked: Settings > Save Location > Private Lightbox.

Improved Progress Reporting

When exporting photos and videos from the Camera Roll or when copying files from the iCloud photo library to the Private Lightbox, you will now see a progress indicator.

HDR Fix

We are very happy to announce a fix for a recent issue in HDR mode. Especially on older devices, some users have occasionally experienced strange photo results.

Adobe Creative Cloud Integration

Directly send an image file from within the app to the desktop versions of Adobe Photoshop CC or Adobe Illustrator CC. Alternatively, you can also save a photo to your Creative Cloud account, making it available on any device or Creative Cloud connected app with your Adobe ID.

The newly updated integration now also supports sending and uploading HEIF files.
