The MPAs, now in their second year, strive to find and showcase the best mobile photography on the planet.  For them, and us, mobile photography is real photography and deserves to be hung on the wall alongside other forms of the medium.

iPhone 4s vs iPhone 5: Image quality comparison tests using ProCamera

I was very excited to get my hands on the iPhone 5 this morning.

After unboxing, the most obvious thing to do was snap some pictures with ProCamera. With similar lenses and sensors, I was interested to see if there were any visible differences between the iPhone 4S and the new iPhone 5 cameras. Here is a quick overview of the technical specifications of the two phones. The differences are bolded.

Get ready for the LA Mobile Arts Festival 2012!

ProCamera app is proud to add our support to the 2012 LA Mobile Arts Festival, the first-ever mobile arts exhibition, featuring interactive mobile artistry. Dozens of award-winning iPhoneographers will showcase their work at the Southern California Festival, which will be held August 18 through 25 at the historic Santa Monica Airplane Hangar located at: 3026 Airport Ave in Santa Monica. The Hangar is just a frisbee toss from the waves, sand and Silicon Beach — a new hub for mobile app and technology development.
